Have We Done? What Do We Need?

We have reached the most critical crossroads in history,
where we have the choice between heaven
and hell
Many enlightened
sources say
we only have a couple years to make the choice
Our current
collective path (nationally and globally)
has extremely high risk of total destruction

Yet…
We also have the greatest opportunity in history
to create Heaven on Earth
However…
We must first recognize and acknowledge
our many hurtful choices
Our current
blindness and denial is massive.
The symptoms are everywhere
(e.g. fear, greed, depression, violence, suicide…)
However…
We (majority) continue to make them worse
with blame, avoidance, righteousness, and more

We
MUST make major changes
|
Will the
changes proposed by our political parties help?
Highly unlikely
Will the
practices of our major churches help?
Not yet
Will the
competitive warfare of our corporations help?
Only when we realize how destructive it is
|
|
|
We
MUST make major changes
|
|
|
What changes?
Who?
How?
Perhaps
the first step
is to open our hearts
to new thinking
and new loving
And be willing to cry
for the errors of our nation
and ourselves
The list
is enormous
|
However…
we MUST stop blaming others
...even our enemies
and other "evildoers"
In the words
of the master from Nazareth…
"Love
your enemies.
Do good to those who hate you"
And
Lincoln…
"Am I not destroying my enemies
when I make friends of them?"
And Martin
Luther King…
"Love is the only force capable of
transforming an enemy into friend"
And Jewish

But critical to our survival

we need a collective commitment
to inspire and unite us?
